Ideation
To understand the creation process, let's start with the word cloud created during brand strategy work. Our inspirations include terms like: vintage, goodvibes, vinyl, walkman, tape, nostalgia, timeliness, art, and jukebox.
The ideation then focused on integrating the brand's initials into vinyl, the brand's iconic product, to create its unique symbol. By breaking in two, it reveals the initials of Disc Counter.

Use of the logo
The logo can be adapted to various supports and contexts, on light or dark backgrounds, in printed or digital formats. This adaptability reinforces the visual presence of the brand and its recognition. The objective is to maintain visual coherence while maximizing the impact and memorability of the identity, regardless of the presentation environment.
Typography
For the brand's main titles, the choice fell on “Tondu”, a thick sans serif typeface to bring modernity, clarity and contrast. This typography complements the “Display” font created especially for the name “Disc counter”, taking up the graphic style of the brand's universe, to be found below.
This is a bold typeface. This choice needed to be balanced with a typography that adapts to all communication materials, ensuring readability and consistency.
For the body text, the "Chillax" typeface perfectly captures the brand universe with its very rounded curves that are reminiscent of vinyl records.

The brand universe
Beyond the logo, the brand shines through a set of icons that can be used on various communication media to share its values, thus strengthening its recognition. Among these illustrations, we find: vinyl racks, a jukebox, the brand's initials derived from vinyl, an audio tape, a musical bandage as an anti-blues remedy, and punchlines symbolizing the brand's universe. It is intended to be authentic and globally unifying goodvibes.
